Abstract
Fractal Picture is an international animation and visual effects studio creating visual experiences across immersive environments, films, episodics, advertising and original IP.
Beyond Reality. Into Experience.
With work spanning everything from large-scale immersive experiences to cinematic VFX and animation, the challenge was to build a digital presence that could communicate the breadth of their craft without taking attention away from the work itself.
The new website turns Fractal Picture's portfolio into an immersive visual experience, giving each project room to create impact while building a clear path through the studio's capabilities and work.

Problem
Making the Work Speak for Itself.
Fractal Picture operates across multiple formats, industries and mediums. Its work can exist on a cinema screen, inside an immersive installation, across a large-format venue or as part of a global campaign.
The challenge was creating a website that could bring this diversity together without making the experience feel fragmented.
The platform needed to communicate scale, craft and storytelling while allowing visitors to quickly understand what Fractal Picture does, explore its projects and discover the capabilities behind the work.

Solution
A Portfolio Built Around Experience.
We restructured the website around the work itself.
Projects take centre stage, supported by concise context that explains the scale, medium and story behind each experience. Services and capabilities are organised to give visitors a clearer understanding of what happens behind the scenes, from animation and VFX to advertising, location-based entertainment and original IP development. Fractal Picture
The result is a digital experience that feels closer to a visual reel than a traditional studio website, while still providing the structure needed to explore Fractal Picture's capabilities.

Design Approach
Let the Visuals Lead.
The design approach was intentionally cinematic and minimal.
Large imagery, motion, immersive project previews and strong typography create a visual-first experience where the work becomes the primary interface.
Instead of filling the page with information, content is introduced progressively. Projects create the first impression, while supporting information helps visitors understand the people, capabilities and thinking behind them.
The interface is designed to feel confident, cinematic and considered, giving every project enough space to make an impression.
